Connect Morphe to your AI assistant
Morphe can be added to the AI assistant you already use. Once connected, the assistant can find your organization’s knowledge bases, search them, and read the chapters your experts recorded, citing the chapter and section it used. The connection uses MCP (Model Context Protocol), the standard these assistants share for plugging in outside sources.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”- You add Morphe to your assistant with the server URL.
- Morphe’s usual sign-in opens in your browser.
- You pick one organization and approve read-only access.
- You ask your questions: the assistant searches and reads your knowledge bases.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”-
The server URL is the same for every organization:
https://morphe.vooban.com/api/mcpYou can also copy it from Morphe: open your account menu, then Connectors.
-
Connections must be enabled for your organization. If Connectors says they aren’t, write to morphe-support@vooban.com.
-
One connection, one organization. You pick the organization when you sign in. If you belong to two, connect twice.
Add Morphe to your assistant
Section titled “Add Morphe to your assistant”Assistants rename their menus often. If a label below doesn’t match what you see, look for “connectors”, “apps” or “MCP servers” in the settings.
Works in Claude on the web, Claude Desktop and Claude Code.
- Open Customize → Connectors, select + Add, then Add custom connector.
- Name it
Morphe, paste the server URL, then select Add. - Select Connect. Morphe’s sign-in opens in your browser: sign in, pick the organization, and approve.
- In a conversation, open the + menu, then Connectors, and turn on Morphe.
On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner first adds the connector under Organization settings → Connectors. Members then find it in Customize → Connectors and select Connect.
Claude Code: run this command, then /mcp inside Claude Code to sign in.
claude mcp add --transport http morphe https://morphe.vooban.com/api/mcpRequires a paid plan (Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu). In a workspace, an administrator may have to allow custom connectors first.
- Open the apps settings (chatgpt.com/plugins), select +, then Add custom MCP server. If the option is missing, turn on Developer mode in the settings first.
- Enter the name
Morphe, a short description, and the server URL. Choose OAuth for authentication. - Accept the warning about custom servers, then create it.
- Sign in to Morphe in the window that opens, pick the organization, and approve.
- In a conversation, type @ and choose Morphe.
The Codex app, the IDE extension and the CLI share the same settings: add Morphe once.
In the app or the IDE extension
- Open Settings → MCP servers, then Add server.
- Name it
morphe, choose Streamable HTTP, and paste the server URL. - Select Authenticate, then sign in to Morphe, pick the organization, and approve.
In the CLI
codex mcp add morphe --url https://morphe.vooban.com/api/mcpcodex mcp login morpheIn Microsoft 365 Copilot, outside sources reach Copilot through an agent built in Copilot Studio. Someone with Copilot Studio access sets it up once, then publishes the agent to your colleagues.
For the person building the agent
- In Copilot Studio, open your agent (or create one), go to Tools, select Add a tool, New tool, then Model Context Protocol.
- Enter the server name
Morphe, a description such as “Knowledge captured from our experts”, and the server URL. - Under authentication, choose OAuth 2.0, then Dynamic discovery, and select Create.
- Select Create a new connection, sign in to Morphe, pick the organization and approve, then select Add to agent.
- Publish the agent to the Microsoft 365 Copilot channel (and Teams, if you want). Your Microsoft 365 administrator may have to approve it.
For everyone else: open the agent in Microsoft 365 Copilot. The first time it uses Morphe, it asks you to sign in.
Ask your questions
Section titled “Ask your questions”Talk to the assistant as usual. It decides when to look in Morphe, and you can ask it to:
- “Which knowledge bases do we have on equipment maintenance?”
- “What did our expert say about the spring shutdown procedure?”
- “Search our knowledge bases for the supplier approval steps and summarize them.”
Answers cite their source as « Chapter › Section », so you can open it in Morphe.
What the assistant can and can’t do
Section titled “What the assistant can and can’t do”- Read only. It can list knowledge bases, see their outline, search them and read chapters, images included. It can’t change anything.
- Your access, nothing more. It sees exactly the knowledge bases you can open in Morphe, in the organization you picked.
- Open topics stay open. Topics planned but not yet captured are presented as gaps, never as answers.
Disconnect an assistant
Section titled “Disconnect an assistant”In Morphe, open your account menu, then Connectors, and select Disconnect. The assistant loses access immediately. You can also remove Morphe from the assistant’s own settings.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”- “MCP connections aren’t enabled for this organization”: write to morphe-support@vooban.com.
- Microsoft sign-in is blocked and asks for an administrator’s approval: see the FAQ entry.
- The assistant sees the wrong organization: disconnect it in Connectors, then connect again and pick the other one.
